02/18/13 - The 55th Bakersfield March Meet is just around the corner and the War Eagle team is pleased to announce that Jeff Arend, Jim Dunn Racing funny car driver, will once again be filling in for Dale.  This will be Arend's second shot competing at the famed event, his first back in 2011.

The team is also working on a new Trans Am body, with tin work near completion By Grant 
Downing.  The body, which will most likely be the last, will head down to Arizona next month for PPG paint design to be applied at Squeeg's Customs in Chandler. The original plan was for the paint to be a venture between three great painters, Doug at Squeeg's along with original painter and color designers, Bill Carter and Glenn Weisgerber.  Due to logistics and other factors this will more than likely not happen.

 "The 2010-2012 car was done perfectly by Squeeg's, and this one will be no different", said Dale. "His shop and paint quality is second to none."
